"Dad"

This is my pride and joy, my favorite piece, and as far as i am concerned, my best. I REALLY took my time on this and brought each section to completion as i moved down the drawing. The shirt was obviously the most difficult by far. I had considered leaving the shirt a solid color, but decided against it, and went with the exact look of the photograph including every line in the shirt pattern. The hands and the wooden handle were a challenge as well, since i had never been able to draw either with any luck. To give you and idea of how slowly i moved in order to keep it perfect, each hand took nearly 4 hours.
