There was a whole lot of inspiration in doing this piece. It was where I went to Elementary School and where my Father went to high school. The building is vacant currently, with plans to restore it into a museum of sorts. I really took my time on this one, even so much as detailing every brick. The shadows in the foreground were a bit of a challenge because the original photograph had trees across the front of the building and the lawn. I used white paint to tip my clouds and give it the illusion of depth.
